Who we Are

How We Started

Western KY Silent Disco was born from a block party and a big idea. While managing Mile Wide Beer Co. on 2nd Street in Owensboro, KY, I was introduced to silent discos through my boss, who had seen great success with them at their Louisville taproom. We brought the experience to Owensboro, shut down the street, and danced the night away under the stars. I was instantly hooked. After hosting a few more events and eventually seeing the brewery close its doors in Owensboro, I told Lisa I knew the silent disco experience had to stay alive in our community.

That passion led to the creation of Western KY Silent Disco — a way to keep the music going in Owensboro and beyond. While we’re proud to call this city home, our goal is to bring the silent disco experience to communities all across Western Kentucky and the surrounding region. Whether it’s a block party, school event, wedding, or bar night, we’re here to turn up the volume — quietly.
